How often do we identify ourselves as one of ‘all the lonely people’? As an expression of Love, surrounded by other expressions of Love, we are never alone. We are always supported by a profound Truth, we only need to remind ourselves and each other.

So, Eleanor Rigby. Poor Eleanor. Such a sad tale; she’s all alone. And you know, I know we usually talk about very positive things here on a Sunday morning, but I think again, we have to recognize that there is part of life. The Buddah says, ‘Life is suffering.’ It’s one of the four noble truths.

But I think we have to recognize that just as the Beatles songs aren’t all about love and holding your hand, life isn’t all about puppies and rainbows.

There’s times when things don’t go as we like. And there’s times when things get so far away from where we like that we feel lost.

This week, Walt presents his talk “Fixing a Hole,” based on the Beatles song by the same name.

There are plenty of things that distract us and gaining clarity and focus is not only for the monks. Life is as available to us as we are to It.

Whenever our best laid plans tend to veer off the cliff or even start to get a little bit off of track it is not – and I repeat it is NOT because God has decided that this isn’t the right time, that you aren’t the right person, or that you have to pay some more dues until you can experience this greater level of good.

It’s not it at all. Nothing could be further from the truth. God doesn’t play that.

God is supporting and supplying us all time with all the means necessary – ALL the means necessary – for the complete fulfillment of our greater living.

This week, Walt presents his talk “All Things Must Pass,” based on the song by George Harrison of The Beatles.

There is a continuous flow to Life and everything changes. We can feel loss if we’re too attached to a specific outcome, but when we remember that Good will expand into greater Good, we can release what we enjoy and make room for even more.

All things change into something else. The question isn’t so much about whether things are going to change, and the question really isn’t so much about whether we are going to change. It’s just a matter of how well we adapt to changes and how well we involve ourselves and participate in making the change go in the best direction we can help with.

And that’s what George is talking about in this song when he says, ‘All things have a beginning, a period of change, and an end. Whether it’s the sunrise, whether it’s the sunset, whether it’s the darkness, whether it’s the light that comes at just the right time’ – which it always seems to do – ‘All those things, all of life in every expression comes to pass.’
