Get Ready for a Spiritual Invasion!
CSLCTX begins its annual Beatles Month celebration this August at Ballet Austin.

Every Sunday, the Center hosts Austin musicians as they perform covers of the Beatles songs that Minister Walt Brewer references in his talks. Performers for 2010 include Darin Murphy, John Burgess of the Eggmen, Baby Atlas, Kim & Paul Pollini, Lisa Clark and more.
“Using the songs of the Beatles is a great way to connect spiritual concepts with what I consider spiritual music,” Brewer, a musician himself, explains. “It’s been a great way to make the principles we teach here at the Center accessible to everyone in the community.”
Beatles Month grew out of the advice of one of Brewer’s mentors to give an annual series of talks with a theme. Nine years later, Beatles Month is still going strong, and with a plethora of songs to choose from, Brewer remarked, “it’ll be a long time before we have to go back and repeat one from the early years!”
The final Sunday of the series will feature a Taizé service led by Assistant Minister Melanie Colpaart.
Based upon the practices of the Taizé Community, the service features a free flowing experience melding singing, readings, music, meditation, and spiritual connection with one another described by Center members as “both moving and quite introspective.”

We’re forever grateful for this teaching – It has given us the substance with which to live in our Truth, to create music and bring healing to ourselves and the world vbc.
I am constantly amazed and inspired by the abundance of love present and the lives that are being lived by my center's members and leaders! Due to these teachings I live every day to the fullest, giving thanks for the light and consciousness that has been passed along to me!
I live, move, breathe and have my being in a universe that works for me. This teaching helps me remember to keep this awareness, this consciousness, at the front of my thinking.
My life went from black & white to color when I stepped into the spiritual world of International Centers for Spiritual Living. The color has become more and more vibrant inside and out and I feel profoundly blessed. Life is Brilliant!
